Whether he’s volunteering at events hosted by the University of Northern Colorado or working in the garden, Joey finds joy in being helpful and staying connected to his community.

He has a deep passion for cooking and is especially known for his amazing pineapple cake—a fan favorite among those lucky enough to try it. Joey also enjoys baking and experimenting in the kitchen, where his creativity truly comes to life.

Though Joey tends to be more reserved at first, those who know him well will tell you he’s full of personality.
