Zoie Cissell

Zoie is our Rae Of Sunshine! She is 14, and headed into her first year of high school at Mountain View. Zoie lives with her mom, dad, and two sweet, younger sisters, Ivie and Charlie. She was born with two separate genetic disorders and since she has far surpassed what any doctor thought, her whole family lives each and everyday to their fullest. Enjoying the little things (and the big things) are so important to Zoie.

Some of the little and big things that Zoie loves to do with her family and friends are visit the mountains and the ocean, swim and kick her legs, ride her horse, go fast in her jogging stroller while on runs, listen to a guitar, worship at church, celebrate half and full birthdays, smile and spread joy, give hugs and snuggle, say hi and no, and be around people.

Zoie simply means “life,” and it’s such a blessing that she has gotten to live such a joyful and purposeful life.
