Jovie is a spirited and fiery 4-year-old with a heart full of joy and curiosity. She is autistic and experiences some challenges with emotional regulation and communication but expresses herself beautifully using a mix of verbal speech, an AAC device, and some sign language. Her vibrant personality shines through in everything she does.
A true social butterfly, Jovie greets everyone with a bright smile and is always ready to share a hug. She loves dancing, singing, and bringing her unique spark to every room she enters. Jovie especially enjoys taking ballet class with her friends, where she dances and spins—but mostly runs around. She shares a special bond with her big brother Ridge, who is also autistic, and they love watching Disney movies together.
Jovie looks forward to all of her therapies each week, where she enjoys reading, puzzles, dress-up, and working on strategies to help her communication, life skills, and social skills. Jovie’s joy is contagious, and she is truly a blessing.
