Aiden Bell

Aiden is a fun loving and caring 8 year old. He was born in Zhengzhou, China and his family was fortunate to travel to China to adopt him soon after his 3rd birthday.

Aiden’s first few years home were filled with doctor’s appointments and what felt like millions of tests to understand his disabilities and get the help and therapies that would allow him to thrive. Aiden was diagnosed with hearing loss, 22Q Deletion Syndrome, CP and epilepsy. Despite it being a challenging time of appointments, trying to understand English and learning what it meant to have a family, Aiden has always been incredibly brave and resilient. He is smart, kind, stubborn and has a smile that lights up his whole face and the hearts of everyone around him.

Aiden is thriving at Bethke Elementary School. He loves playing with his friends on the playground (especially the swings and spinner), learning new things, dancing to music and spending time with his incredible team of paras, teachers and therapists. His absolute favorite part of school is riding the bus! The more bus rides the better and he especially loves field trips.

At home, Aiden loves riding his bike, swimming, playing with remote control cars, loving on his cat, Turbo and his dog, Piper, and playing Mario Kart. His favorite days are when he gets to play at home with his mom, dad, older brother and grandparents. He also loves hanging out with his friends and his favorite babysitter.

Aiden continues to show everyone in his life that he is determined to do anything he sets his mind to. We are incredibly proud of him and can’t wait to see what his future holds!
