Avery Bland is a vibrant 6 year old headed into Kindergarten this fall. She has been the inspiration behind the nonprofit Avery’s Light; bringing resources to the local special needs community and Avery’s Modern Teahouse; providing job opportunities for people of all abilities.
Although Avery is non-verbal, she is quick to let you know how excited she is about life with her infectious smile and excited screams. If Avery is in the water, good luck getting her out! Along with water, she loves music (worship music to be exact), and her therapy horse, Chico.
Avery has had many challenges in her short 6 years of life but nothing is going to stop her from the joy she has for life, family and friends.
