Ryan Akers

Ryan Akers was born and raised in Greeley, Colorado, and graduated from Greeley West High School. He has worked for The Arc of Weld County for ten years as an Office Assistant and Community Ambassador. Ryan is actively involved in community meetings, such as the Greeley Chamber and Greeley Recreation, and participates in buddy meetings with various community members.

Ryan owns a landscaping business called Plants Alive, where he showcases his passion and talent for reviving plants. He loves working with people and has a natural gift for both plants and hospitality.

Ryan also has a remarkable talent for singing. He sings in his church choir and is a member of an all-men's choir called The Lutheran Men of Song. Additionally, he is an experienced video gamer. He has a deep love for clocks, collecting them in memory of his dad, and wind chimes, with a substantial collection at home.

Despite having autism, Ryan does not let it hold him back. He continues to pursue his passions and make significant contributions to his community.
